We will guide you through the process of adding AskAI to your Wix site so you can improve user experience by providing answers to frequently asked questions.

1. Access your Wix site editor

Navigate to your Wix site editor and locate the area where you want to add AskAI, ideally near a relevant section or FAQs.

1. Add a blank section

Click the "+" button to add a new section and select a blank section from the available options.

1. Add an HTML element

Click on the blank section and click "Add" or the "+" button. Choose the "Embed" option and then "HTML iframe."

1. Obtain your AskAI code

Assuming you have already created an AskAI, (if not head over to www.myaskai.com and create one for free now) click on "Embed/Integrate" then “Add AskAI to your website” and choose whether you want to embed within the page (Add to display within a page) or as a ‘chat’ widget (Add as a floating button, that can open/close). Click "Copy" to copy the embed code you want to use.

1. Paste the AskAI code

Return to your Wix site's HTML element and paste the copied AskAI code. Click "Update," and the AskAI widget should now appear within the blank section.

1. Adjust the size

Resize the HTML element by dragging its edges to achieve the desired size. Make sure that the suggested questions and search box are visible.

1. Customize appearance and settings (optional)

To further personalize the appearance and functionality of your AskAI widget, go to "Personalize Appearance" in the AskAI “Customize/Settings”. Change the font or font colors as needed. Additionally, you can turn off suggested questions or references to tailor the widget to your preferences.

1. Save and publish

Once you are satisfied with the appearance and functionality of your AskAI widget, save your changes in the Wix site editor and publish your site.

Now, when users visit your site, they can interact with the AskAI widget to get answers to their questions.
